URD Cap Stand™

The patent-pending URD Cap Stand™ attaches to the lip of underground padmount transformers and switchgear to securely hold insulated caps. It safely stores insulated caps that are accessible using a shotgun stick so workers remain outside their minimum approach distance (MAD) and caps stay clean.
Portable Insulated Cap Holder
The URD Cap Stand™ provides a simple and secure means of holding insulated caps when working with padmount transformers or switch gear. The adjustable design fits snugly over padgear lips up to 2” wide, keeping the work area clear.
The URD Cap Stand™ is available in single, dual or triple arm options. The dual and triple arm models have a convenient shotgun attachment.
